2 hours before closing and 43 miles to be told they are out of food, who does that? Best part about it was we found a Great Thai (Thai One On) restaurant in Anniston. So I give KC ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for running out of food. Their bad business model helped me find a better place for dinner. Thanks Korea Cafe!

A true hidden gem! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Calhoun County! Only place you can get authentic Bulgogi(Korean BBQ) in the area. Food is always consistent and delicious!

I have eaten here a few times and have been happy with everything I've ordered. I do wish the kimchi was a bit stronger in spice and sourness, and the noodles in the Jambong needed more flavor (didn't quite soak up enough of the broth). However, the cook is always perfection, especially with the squid and mussels. The sundubugae (Deeply sorry if I misspelled this, I couldn't find an updated online menu for reference.) is by far the best meal I've had here. It might be the best Korean meal I have EVER had. If you love spice and seafood, I would definitely recommend it. This place is not for the faint of palate, though, as the food is authentic and therefore quite spicy (though I do believe there's always the option to tone down the spice). The prices may seem high as well, but I can basically guarantee you will leave not only full, but with leftovers in tow.

Deep fried dumplings are the best ever!!! Try them!!! I now live in Huntsville AL and I drive back once a month for them! Other food is great as well

For small town Alabama, this place is great. Home cooked Korean food at an affordable price. Hearty portions and great service. Lunch time is nice and quiet.

Super delicious food and the staff was so so so super friendly and fantastic. Will definitely go back many more times. Very clean, pricing was great. I've lived in this area my whole life and never knew this place was here!

I would love to say that we had a great visit, but after driving an hour to get there for my daughters birthday, we were turned around at the door because they ran out of food. We commented on our drive and the server shrugged and told us to call ahead next time...

I live in BHM now, but ate here in the 90s! Was surprised to see Cafe Korea is still open. So excited too!! The food was always delicious. I’ve had Korean in NYC (Little Korea) and thus was just as good!

owners have change... food was horrible. i use to love this place but i've never in my life been so disappointed in a meal. i never write reviews but i thought it was important for people to know not to come.

This was our first visit. The kimchi was amazing, all of the dishes were extremely well prepared buy a grandmother in the back kitchen that we could watch as we dined. The food was delicious, and we will be back!

The atmosphere is cozy, and the restaurant is small and cute. The wait isn't that long, around 20 minutes or so. Most importantly, the food is delicious! The serving is worth it's price. I recommend it.

I seriously love this place! I have never been disappointed with the food or the staff who go out of thier way to make everything perfect! I even went in with my very picky pregnant wife and they made sure she would like everything and made sure it would fit her taste and be healthy for her! I am a loyal customer for life!! One of my favorite places! I'm always thankful every time I leave and cannot wait to return! If you like spicy this is your place, and if you don't they can always find something that will fit your taste.

Well, I’d leave a review about the food but since they didn’t have any, I guess not. What kind of restaurant runs out of food two hours before closing?! Turn off your “OPEN” sign and lose the attitude!

A party of 9 including myself tried to go in two hours before their posted closing time and we were met with a lady behind the counter with a serious attitude telling us to leave because they didn't have any food from a rush earlier that day. Ok? No signs, people playing on their phones in the back, two customers lounging at a table in a corner? You don't have to tell me twice to leave... Pathetic

I love this place they offer something I can only get here so far yakimandu which is deep fried triangle shaped taste similar to egg rolls it is a small restaurant in Anniston, Al 2 hours from Huntsville, Al a must try if you ever go that way.

Good spicy Korean food! If you have not tried it, start out with the beef bugogi and take money, not too spicy and work your way up the spicy list.

Definitely the best restaurant to get Korean/Asian food. The kimchi and the spicy octopus is a very good pick, very friendly owner who is also the one who cooks as well so you know it's made to impress and impressive it is.

If you are expecting "Chinese Food," this is not the place for you. This is traditional Korean Food at its finest. If you have spent any amount of time on the Korean Peninsula, then you will LOVE this place.

Price is a little high only reason not a 5 star everything else great

Great little Korean restaurant.

My fiance and I had our first Korean food experience here today and are very pleased. We had prompt and attentive service, wonderful food, and we were greeted by the owner/cook during our meal. This place definitely needs a newer, more accessible location to take full advantage of the experience. It's definitely a gem in Anniston and highly rated for a good reason.

I've eaten here for years, and there just isn't ANY OTHER LIKE IT. The Beef Bulgogi is a must try.

The food was exquisite. My son recommended it for it's authenticity. He spent a summer in Korea, and he said this was every bit as delicious as the food he got while there.
